What is En Visions Really About?
People frequently ask me, “What is En Visions?” So I thought I would put what the shop means to me into words. The most common use of the word envision is to form a mental picture of something, typically something that may occur or be possible in the future.
As I began to awaken to my spiritual path I learned that I create my own reality. I envisioned the shop and grew the dream into being. En Visions began as an idea, a simple thought, and then blossomed from there.
I sometimes use the term metaphysical emporium or refer to the shop as Gifts for the New Age. Now it serves many purposes. What began as a gift shop and place for Reiki Shares to be held, is now changing to include numerous workshops on metaphysical energy.
En Visions also serves as a place for people to meet and greet others of similar minds and discuss this aspect of their lives.
Some of my customers refer to En Visions as a metaphysical shop. This works just as well. The metaphysical definition was coined by the ancient Greeks, “meta” meaning “beyond or after” and “physic” meaning “physical,” therefore metaphysics meaning to the Greeks “beyond or after the physical.” To me metaphysics refers to the studies of what cannot be reached through objective studies of material reality.

My store front is located at 318 Luverne Avenue in historic downtown Panama City, Florida housed inside the City Arts Cooperative.
Once inside you will find a colorful array of products to delight one’s spirit. Soothing sounds of relaxing meditative music along with art work by local artisans have been blended with brightly colored sarongs and hand woven shawls. There are bowls of crystals which beckon to be held including tumbled stones, clusters, points and spheres. As the owner, I take pleasure in the diverse and ever-changing inventory that I have placed in En Visions. In addition to a selection of wind chimes and candle holders you will find herbs, sage, incense and essential oils along with incense burners and oil diffusers.
I adore working with the stone people and have a variety of handcrafted jewelry made mostly with natural gemstones including earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
There are blessing candles and home décor items mixed along with books, divination decks, wooden boxes and pouches.
The highest compliment I have received so far is how good the energy feels inside the shop. One dear customer likened the feel to a Way Station. A place where folks come to visit, chat or shop, yet finding an opportunity to rest their hearts, body, mind and spirits.
Reiki Shares are held on Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m.
There are various classes and workshops, typically held on Saturdays which may cover everything from working with pendulums, learning about crystals to making runes. Be sure to check out my Calendar page!
